My self-care tools have been hot items on my survival list the past week.
Iâve been in my head and feelings way too much, and feeling crappy. The beautiful part of it all is that I can OBSERVE it within myself - I can distance myself with it all and see that itâs time to get down to business in releasing the nagging voice and low vibes that had taken over! What I did: âNOTHINGâ. Saturday is when I did NOTHING related to anything that was stressing me out. Instead I:

past me wouldâve guilted and shamed herself with âshouldsâ, stressing herself out and making said chores even MORE miserable. She probably wouldâve avoided doing them by sitting on the couch. Not relaxing- instead, nervous system dysregulated and in a freeze mode. Those damn SHOULDS are vicious! NOW Jenny: I observe what is actually going on inside myself. I now give a shit about my well-being first and foremost (finally!), so I give myself some space to process and release. I know that things wonât change themselves- my power lies in taking care of myself!
